Artists

Calling for Artists - Animal Portraits
The Gallery is extending its investigation of portraiture by including depictions of animals. Animal Portraits will be shown midway through the major portrait exhibition, the Xstrata Percival Portrait Award. The exhibition will be held at Perc Tucker Regional Gallery, Townsville from 6 June to 1 July 2012. To find out how you can be involved, click here.

Artist Registration
Perc Tucker Regional Gallery encourages all local artists to register with the gallery. By simply filling in a form, local artists are sent information about opportunities, proposed exhibitions, professional development programs and expressions of interest for public art commissions.

Calling for Donations
Donations of artworks are now being accepted at the Gallery for the Matt Clark Travelling Scholarship, which is administered by La Luna Youth Arts and each year offers a young Townsville artist the opportunity to travel outside of the community to view art or participate in an art event. The auction of donated artworks is scheduled to be held at the Gallery at 1pm Saturday 21 July.
