The Townsville 400 Festival Committee is a group of community representatives who volunteer their time to ensure that Townsville makes the most of the opportunities that come with hosting an event of this magnitude.

The Townsville 400 Festival Committee works on key projects to ensure the region's residents and businesses are well equipped to capitalise on the opportunities surrounding the race while ensuring a positive economic impact on the city. 

The committee is getting a makeover and this year a new approach to the Townsville 400 event will be implemented under the guidance of Townsville Enterprise.

The new model will see community champions lead particular portfolios which will supersede the old Townsville 400 Festival Committee. The new group will continue to work with business and community groups to ensure community participation and encourage connectivity between the V8 event and city businesses.
