Townsville City Council has developed two Shoreline Erosion Management Plans, (SEMP) for the Rowes Bay to Pallarenda foreshore and the Nelly Bay foreshore.
The SEMP provides a long-term, sustainable, coastal-management approach to foreshore protection, from erosion, while maintaining culture, heritage and environmental values.
