2007 Work Safe Awards - Queensland winner

The Workforce Management Section's Corporate Safety Unit recently accepted the award for best WPH&S Management System.

Townsville City Council won the Queensland Award for the best WH&S Management System.

2007 Work Safe Australia Awards - Finalist 

Workforce Management Section's Corporate Safety Unit recently won two awards for the Workplace Health and Safety Management System in 2007.

Townsville City Council was a finalist in the Australian Awards.

The Safe Work Australia Awards were held in Canberra on 28 April 2008.
