Council Residential Count (estimated) by Electoral Divisions
The following table estimates the total number of residential units in Townsville City Council local government electoral divisions. The ‘Extras Count’ is for those properties which have one ‘parent’ property with multiple ‘child’ properties not individually identified/rated. Strata-titled home units will each appear as a property in the Property Count – however single owner multi-tenanted properties such as registered flats, public housing units, some retirement villages and the like have had their ‘child’ units estimated in the Extras Count. Council considers that the Total Counts are accurate to (+-) 50 for each division. The Total Counts are for residential properties only – all others such as commercial, industrial, medical, sporting, education, churches, agricultural/rural etc are excluded.
