Chief Executive Officer
 Ray Burton
Ray Burton was previously the CEO at Pine Rivers Shire Council for five years prior to the Council amalgamations and served as the Interim then Acting CEO of the new Moreton Bay Regional Council north of Brisbane, which is Australia’s third largest Council.
Prior to his time with Pine Rivers, he held a General Manager position at Maroochy Shire on the Sunshine Coast for three years where he was subsequently appointed as the Deputy CEO.
Ray has held a number of executive positions in regional Councils in Victoria, including 10 years as CEO at Bendigo and brings 32 years experience at executive level in local government.
