TV chef reveals secret ingredients to bestseller books

Author of five bestselling books, including the popular ‘4 Ingredients’ cookbook series, Rachael Bermingham, will visit Townsville this Thursday to share her stories of success and give some tips on how to manage life.

The highest selling self-published female author in Australia, Mrs Bermingham has sold more than 2.5 million copies of her books in less than four years and has just released her solo-written book, ‘How to write your own book and make it a BESTSELLER’.

Her visit comes as part of CityLibraries’ ongoing program to bring high-profile individuals to Townsville to promote art and literature.

Lifestyle and Community Development Committee chair Cr Jenny Lane said Mrs Bermingham’s visit provided a great opportunity for people to meet a successful entrepreneur and hear her story.

“Her work is continually inspiring and motivating others to achieve success,” Cr Lane said.

“She is an incredible role model, successfully balancing her personal and professional life, and her recent selection as one of six finalists in Queensland’s 2009 Telstra Business Women’s Awards is testament to this.”

Mrs Bermingham said that her visit to Townsville provided an opportunity to share her story and help other share theirs.

“I used to get around 300 emails a day asking me how I did it,” Mrs Bermingham said.

“I decided it would be much easier to write a book about how you can do it, instead of replying to all of those emails everyday. Everybody has some life experience they can share and I’m glad that I can help them to get started.”

Mrs Bermingham will be at CityLibraries Aitkenvale this Thursday from 12.30pm to 1.15pm. She will share some ‘4 Ingredients’ treats, talk about how to save time and money in the kitchen, and reveal the ingredients to her bestsellers.
