Statutory Declaration

If the Complaint relates to a vehicle offence and you were not the driver at the time, then you may complete a Statutory Declaration naming the driver and giving that person’s current address. Council will not accept a declaration naming the driver that does not include the address. Please post original to PO Box 1268 TOWNSVILLE QLD 4810 or deliver to the nearest Townsville City Council Customer Services Centre.

Plea of Guilty

You may enter a plea in writing and ask that the matter be dealt with in your absence. A fine will be imposed and the Court will write to you to explain what happened and the amount you must pay. Please post original to PO Box 1268 TOWNSVILLE QLD 4810 or deliver to the nearest Townsville City Council Customer Services Centre.
