Training

One-on-one and group training is held every month in Aitkenvale and Thuringowa libraries. The training enables all Townsville residents to become skilled and confident using computers and internet services. Information sessions about the NBN and Digital Hub are also held.

Half hour sessions with a trainer to enhance, revise and refresh skills learnt in group training.

Book online or contact staff at your library to participate in any of these NBN sessions.

For more information about these sessions, email TCC Digital Hub

The Australian government envisions that the National Broadband Network (NBN) will enable Australia to be a leading global digital economy by 2020. The NBN is a high speed broadband network that will connect all of Australia. Parts of Townsville are already connected to the NBN.

CityLibraries was chosen as the host for Townsville's Digital Hub. The digital hub is a place for Townsville residents to gain digital skills needed to enjoy the benefits of the NBN when it is available to them. The digital hub will also allow residents to experience the NBN in a friendly environment.
