If you are interested in reading, meeting people and discussing books then a book club is a great pastime for you.
At the moment the Citylibraries hosts five book clubs and also supply kits to many external groups. The groups are a mix of community, networking and gathering of friends.
Book clubs have become very popular recently and as such most of the Library hosted groups are at full capacity but if you are interested in a group contact us and perhaps we can put you in touch with another group or you could start your own group and we can help you with resources and assistance.
- We have a list of bookclub books complete with synopsis for groups to choose from.
- Would you like to form your own book club? We can help with book kits, reading guides and even space to meet.
- Have a theme you would like to explore in book club? We have book lists you can use.
- Would like to write a review of a book you have read and post it on the library catalogue for other readers to see?
