Kokoda Memorial Pool is a new family-friendly, year-round aquatic facility. It is now to open to the public following a major $5 million redevelopment, funded by Townsville City Council in partnership with the Queensland Government. The centre includes a heated and shaded 25m program pool, children's aquatic playground, a café and public amenities. The pool offers a mix of recreational activities, learn to swim classes, lap swimming and warm water aerobic activities.
A walk-in entry ramp provides easy access for all ages. Leisure pools and shaded BBQ areas provide year-round fun for the whole family.
