The Performance Space is a contemporary studio style space capable of presenting a wide range of performance styles. Dance, drama and music events are catered for while maintaining the flexibility to also accommodate conferences and seminars, dinners and balls, product launches and exhibitions.

The space has a maximum audience capacity of 380, with 304 of these seats set in a retractable seating arrangement. A range of sound and lighting equipment is able to cater for the multitude of events likely to be staged at the centre.

Performance Space Configurations for Hirers

• Proscenium Arch Theatre with a raked auditorium seating 304 people
  Stage size – 10m width x 10m depth
• Thrust Theatre seating 378 people total with seating on three sides of the stage Stage size – 10m width x 10m depth – Limited backstage area.
• Theatre-in-the-round seating 400 people total with seating on all four sides of stage
  Stage size – 10m width x 10m depth - Limited backstage area.
• Concert/Convention/Banquet/Trade show style Flat floor venue accommodating:
  450 people standing (concert / cocktail)
  250 seated at Tables (Banquet style)
  400 Seated theatre style (not raked)

**Any variation to existing lighting configuration or stage floor must be made by the hirers or at the hirer’s expense and returned to a standard configuration by hirer or at hirer’s expense.
