Strand Ephemera Artists
Twenty-two artists were selected to exhibit in Strand Ephemera 5, held along the Strand from 4 to 14 September. These artists hailed from all over Australia, and the works ranged from large scale formalist sculptures to performance.
Every participating artist was eligible for the major prize – Wilson/Ryan/Grose Award for Artistic Excellence - as well as the Innovation Award, Judge's Award, and the Walters IGA People's Choice Award, the most popular artwork as voted by the general public.
