  • Photo image database - historical photographs of Townsville. Copies can be ordered.
  • Microfiche - a variety of indexes, gazetteers, almanacs, and directories.
  • Specialist in-house databases - access Australian Standards Online and Ancestory.com (a valuable tool for family history researchers)
  • A collection of reference CDs
