Local History Room

The Local History Collection is housed in a purpose built climate controlled environment and comprises many valuable historical items relating to the history of Townsville and the immediate district.

We welcome anyone with an interest in Townsville's history to come in and browse. One of our Reference Librarians will be on hand to give you assistance if required.
