Kokoda Pool Redevelopment

Kokoda Memorial Pool

Kokoda Memorial Pool in Wellington St, Mundingburra is being redeveloped by Townsville City Council in partnership with the Queensland Government.

The redevelopment of Kokoda Pool is in accordance with council’s Aquatic Facilities Master Plan (2008).

Construction on the site is expected to commence in late 2009. Consultation for the Master Plan of the Kokoda site that incorporates both stages one and two were conducted in October 2009.
