2009 Festival of One-Act Plays
Saturday 2 to Sunday 3 May 2009
The 2009 North Queensland Festival of One-Act Play will be held over the May Day long weekend at The Townsville Civic Theatre on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May.
Now in its seventeenth year, the Festival attracts entries from all over North Queensland bringing together people from as far north as Mareeba and as far south as Rockhampton.
The weekend is a culmination of many hours of hard work and dedication from schools, and drama and theatre groups.
Audience members can expect great entertainment with a good mix of drama and comedy.
The Adjudicator for 2009 will be Trevor Keeling. Trevor has been involved with performing arts in one capacity or another for his entire life and was the Adjudicator for the 2007 and 2008 Festivals.
