The Friends of the Theatre (FOTT) is an association that promotes the awareness and appreciation of the Townsville Civic Theatre and is run by a volunteer executive committee, elected from its members.

Get Involved

FOTT offers you the opportunity to be involved with the Townsville Civic Theatre in a supportive role.

• Coffee Corner at the Townsville Civic Theatre offering tea, coffee, and iced coffee to patrons before the show and during intervals.
• FOTT serves patrons with complimentary morning tea at Morning Melodies performances.
• FOTT helps with the Theatre's mailouts by helping fill and address envelopes.
• FOTT organises the Sunday Variety Concerts to showcase local performers and acknowledge proven experience. The concerts are held bi-monthly and provide low-cost entertainment for hundreds of people.

• Discounted tickets for selected shows.
• Complimentary seating for volunteers of coffee trolley and Morning Melodies.
• Regular newsletters.
• The opportunity to meet and work with people with similar interests in theatre.
