General Community Grants
Community Organisations Grants Program
This program aims to assist Townsville community organisations to make a positive contribution to the quality of life for Townsville residents by providing funding for social service and community development activities, programs and/or services as well as facilities and/or equipment.*
Funding Round
- Last Friday of March of each year
- Last Friday of July of each year
- Last Friday of October of each year
Level of Financial Assistance
- Grants will range between minimum $1,000 and maximum $5,000.
Examples
- Support for the Mothers Crying Out for Help group,
- Support to Sera's Women's Shelter to host 30th Year Celebrations for past and present clients,
- Support for Volunteering NQ to host Volunteer Expo 2006,
- Support for Magnetic Island Community Care’s construction of steps into the local swimming pool.

Partnerships and Sponsorships Program
This program aims to assist Townsville organisations to provide community services and community development activities in Townsville by providing funding for capital costs, events, programs or operational expenses.

- One-off or recurrent funds of varying amounts.

Community Micro-Grants Program
The Community Micro-Grants Program aims to assist Townsville community organisations with quick response funding so that they can make a positive contribution to the quality of life for Townsville residents through the provision of social services and community development activities, projects and programs.*

- One off grants up to $1000 subject to the availability of funding.

This program aims to assist organisations that play an active role in preserving Townsville's history and heritage.

- Last Friday of October of each year.

- One-off grants of up to $5,000.
