$5.00 per day, in any paid council parking space.

What are the restrictions on parking whilst displaying a disabled permit?

Your permit entitles free unlimited parking in any disabled parking bay or zone and in any timed parking area where the time permitted is greater than half an hour.

You may not park in any loading zones, stopping zones, bus zones or any 5, 15 or 30 minute parking areas.

What rules and regulations apply to the 2P Free Parking areas?

The 2P free parking restrictions have been introduced into the Townsville CBD to encourage shoppers into the mall.

When parking in these areas, you may not simply move your vehicle from one bay to the next. The road rules state that a driver must not park continuously in an area to which a parking sign applies for longer than the time stated on that sign.
