Townsville Online Property Search

TOPS is Townsville City Council's system for submitting and paying for Property Searches and other products online. You no longer have to obtain, complete and deliver paper forms to Council, and then pay for the services separately. TOPS allows you to request the following reports and services online:

• Propery Search
• Rates Search
• Water Meter Reading
• Ownership / Valuation Details
• Physical inspections of buildings
• Copy of Certificate of Classification
• Limited, Standard, and Full Town Planning Certificates
• Contour Map
• Flood Hazard Study Report

If you are a new and/or an occasional user of TOPS, you can register your details and submit an application immediately, paying by credit card. If you are a frequent user, you may apply to become a TOPS account holder with Council. You can download a Request for Credit Form or request one by phoning Sundry Debtors. Account holders are billed on a regular (usually weekly) basis.

Reports will be delivered to you within the times specified in the 'View Details' section (located under each search option). You can choose to have the report emailed, posted or faxed to you or you can come and pick it up, however we recommend you choose to have the report emailed to you for the fastest delivery. Faxing will incur additional charges.
