Townsville City Council has committed to embracing the principles of Smart Cities and will be encouraging our partners, community groups, businesses and members of the community to join us on the journey.
This new Smart Townsville Partnership will ensure our city is connected, competitive and resourceful. Above all, this will be a partnership for everyone, focusing on how technology can improve living and opportunity in Townsville.

Smart Precinct NQ
Smart Precinct NQ (SPNQ) is a commitment of Townsville City Council as part of the Townsville City deal.
SPNQ’s goal is to create a vibrant ecosystem of high-growth companies that are globally competitive and based in North Queensland.
