Support Local Townsville

Townsville City Council is advancing preparations to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). On the back of the Federal Government’s decision to cancel all non-essential outdoor and indoor gatherings, venues and non-essential businesses Council is encouraging all residents to do their part in supporting local businesses wherever possible over the coming months.

This support can range from buying gift vouchers to be used at a later date if you need to cancel appointments, buying food from businesses that are now offering takeaway options and supporting your local corner stores and/or independent/locally owned produce suppliers.

If your business has adapted over the past few weeks, let us help the community know you’re open for business by completing this online form.

Council will market this campaign, Support Local Townsville in the local community to let residents know of your adapted service/product offering.
