The NQ Arts Awards is the regions pinnacle arts and cultural event recognising and showcasing the artistic talents of groups and individuals in the North Queensland area. The Awards incorporate the Burdekin, Hinchinbrook, Charters Towers and Townsville regions; and span the visual, literary and performing arts and is held every two years.
The winners of the NQ Arts Awards 2015 were announced at a gala event showcasing local artists, dance groups and theatre performers at Townsville Civic Theatre on Friday 8 May 2015. Nominations were made for individuals or groups for any arts or cultural events that occurred between 01/01/2013 to 31/12/2014.
