Enjoy your library for longer! CityLibraries Aitkenvale is offering extended opening hours until 28 February 2023. This trial will help us understand how we can meet the needs of our growing library community.
Extended opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 9am - 9pm
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
Sunday: 10am - 4pm

We've curated a range of evening programs and activations that are running during the trial.

| Monday & Friday | Quiet Night Need a place to study, write, read, craft or meditate? Find a study desk, comfy lounge or quiet nook and settle in for some interruption-free time to yourself. |
| Tuesday | Youth Night Come along and play Xbox, Guitar Hero and much more. Be social, get creative and make new friends. |
| Wednesday | JP in the Library Visit Aitkenvale Library on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:30pm to access the free Justice of the Peace service. Coming January 2023. |
| Thursday | Games Night Come to the library’s Games Night. Grab a Lego kit or board game and connect in-person. |
| Weekends | Fun for the whole family with Storytime and Pokémon Check What’s On Townsville to find out what’s happening. |
