Long Tan Memorial Pool
Long Tan Memorial Pool has disability access and a huge grassed area, onsite parking and is open all year for sporting or recreational hire needs. The pool is the home of Gardens Swimming Club, Long Tan Legends Masters, Townsville Underwater Hockey and Townsville Water Polo.

Programs
Long Tan Memorial Pool offers a full range of aquatic opportunities including:
- learn to swim for babies through to adults
- disability classes
- aqua aerobics including specialty maternity Aqua classes and Aqua Zumba
- hydro rehabilitation exercise sessions
- lap swimming.
We offer a full squad program including junior, senior, adult and elite.
Operating Hours
Long Tan Memorial Pool is open:
- Monday to Thursday: 5:30am to 7pm
- Friday: 5:30am to 6pm
- Saturday: 6:30am to 4pm
- Sunday: 8am to 1:30pm
- Public Holidays: 8am to 4pm
