Strand Ephemera is a biennial sculpture festival that has been held in north Queensland since 2001. Hosted along the beautiful foreshore of The Strand in Townsville, it has grown into a much loved and anticipated festival to its current standing as an outdoor sculpture exhibition of state and national significance.

As Strand Ephemera’s 2019 event is fast approaching, we are seeking the assistance of members of the community to volunteer at this year’s event.

Volunteers are needed to assist with a range of duties from 26 July to 4 August, including:

  • Installation & Demount
  • Information Desks
  • Workshops
  • Event Assistance
  • Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo

Erth’s DINOSAUR Zoo™ Volunteers

In addition to our regular volunteer duties, this Strand Ephemera will host an exciting live animal presentation from Erth's Dinosaur Zoo™, that has hit international fame with tours spanning the USA, UK, Europe, Asia and of course Australia wide.

Experience the thrill of this extraordinarily imaginative work, where audience can meet awesome prehistoric creatures, from cute baby dinos to some of the largest carnivores and herbivores that have ever walked the planet!
