About the Artwork
My painting presses pause on the elusive nature of wild birds, so we may linger with these marvellous creatures. I’m privileged to encounter a particular magpie in my garden: Vinnie. He lets me take his photo and I never tire of these magical moments because no bird is ‘ordinary’ to me.

Anna Davi is a mixed-media artist from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, best known for her vibrant, expressive bird portraits. Inspired by the beauty of Australian birds, Anna creates layered, abstract artworks that blend realism with imagination.
