Portrait of Geoffrey Jensen
Oil on cradled board
51 x 41 cm

About the Artwork

For this portrait, it was my wish to acknowledge and create a visual record of a person of significance both to the broader Townsville community and the arts in particular. Geoff Jensen ran a successful framing business in Townsville for many years and was well respected in his field. His framing business regularly received work from the Armed Forces, sporting teams, and others for both conventional and more involved custom work for medal and uniform displays of a high standard. He has also been active in The National Trust and Townsville Museum.

I have shown Geoff at work making a picture frame.
