About the Artwork
I decided to do a self-portrait as a new experience after a friend encouraged me. It came as a surprise to have such fun. Wrinkles and grey hair come along as we age. Good and bad news also come along, but there is always going to be something colorful and joyful around us.
About the Artist
Queensland-based artist Anne Copeland has been making art for about 20 years, working in watercolour, acrylic, oil and pastels. She also has a Diploma of Therapeutic Art, and has been active in community organisations involved with promoting art, working as a treasurer and chairperson.
