Townsville City Council invites your school to participate in Schools Tree Day 2022!

Schools Tree Day is a National Tree Day just for schools, held on Friday 29 July 2022. We’re giving away free Schools Tree Day kits including native plants and the tools you need to host a planting site at your school.

Register HereRegister now and join other schools in helping to improve urban habitat and biodiversity in the Townsville area.

Registrations close Friday 24 June 2022.

Each registered school will receive:

  • Up to 50 local native plant saplings (trees, shrubs and ground covers) including TerraCottem Physical Soil Conditioner
  • Gardening kit including gloves and garden tools
  • Tree planting and maintenance information package and participation certificate
  • Fine organic mulch delivered to your school.

Schools Tree Day Ceremony

Receive your Schools Tree Day kit at Council’s presentation ceremony, held one day before the official Schools Tree Day.
