The one-stop shop website has a full list of all Council- and community-run events and activities for the summer school holidays, including workshops, open days, exhibitions and major events.

Mayor Nick Dametto said checking out the calendar on the What's On Townsville website was the easiest way to keep the whole family entertained.

"Townsville's Perc Tucker Regional Gallery and Pinnacles Gallery are both exhibiting massive shows and have a slew of activities available for young artists.

"Citylibraries Townsville's three branches have special themed story times and a full school holiday program for children to enjoy.

"We can't forget our two huge events coming up: Stable at Cluden from next Thursday and New Year's Eve on December 31, both set to thrill thousands of Townsville locals and visitors to our city.
