So, we're here at Riverside Green Park in Douglas and behind me you'll see stage one that we have completed.
The new stage is for the little kids.
Our State member from Mundingburra Janelle Pool has gifted us some funding that we can now get a much-needed toilet in this park.
Janelle Pool MP:
Council is undergoing big works here in this playground area and we're really proud as a state government to be able to deliver a toilet block in that area as well.
Behind this playground is a dog park, small and big and we've just put in more shelter. We put in uh plantings of trees.
So, it's really coming together now and really exciting for the community.
And what is great about this partnership, it is Local Government and State Government working together to deliver for the betterment of our community.
