It's such a special occasion in the year.
We are a proud garrison city that will be coming together as a community.
It's always a privilege when Australian society pauses to remember Australians that have served in the past and that continue to serve.
Being here in Townsville really makes it special.
Exceptional to have a tri-service event.
You can have Navy, Army and Air Force all marching, that’s exceptional.
I want to make sure that everyone is stopping, pausing and reflecting for this year's Anzac Day.
The warmth and the support from the community is just amazing.
I encourage everybody to come down and please be a part of Anzac Day this year.
Mother’s Day Memorial
Join us at Belgian Gardens Cemetery on Saturday 9 May 2026 for a special memorial to remember those close to us that we have lost.
The memorial is a free community event and open to all who seek to connect with others to remember their loved ones ahead of Mother’s Day.
