About the Artwork

Our family dog Lulu stars in this surreal Far North Queensland (FNQ) fable, a nod to the region’s notorious cane toads and Lulu’s mischievous encounters with them. With psychedelic humour and fluorescent colour, the work celebrates FNQ’s strange beauty, where innocence, danger, and delirium coexist beneath a vivid Queensland sky.
