Serena Bentley is Senior Curator at the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra. A curator and art writer with over 20 years’ experience across Aotearoa and Australia, she has held curatorial positions at ACMI, the National Gallery of Victoria, and Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, and worked with leading commercial galleries in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland.
