Journey through the naive, cringeworthy and obsession-driven teen years of Kay; a girl with a penchant for drinking Smirnoff Vodka at beach parties and writing Fan Fiction during math class. Cracking open her real-life teenage diaries that have been buried away, Kay rides a wave of nostalgia to ask tough questions about the woman she has become.
Equal parts funny and heart-breaking, this solo show effortlessly weaves storytelling and live music. With wry humour and confessional stories, Dear Diary asks us to look at what we hold onto in our lives and when it’s the right time to let them go, if ever.
