Following last year’s smash hit, AMADEUS, TheatreiNQ returns to the Townsville Civic Theatre in 2026 to present the North Queensland Premiere of
SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE
Promising young playwright, Will Shakespeare is tormented by writer’s block until he finds his muse in the form of passionate noblewoman, Viola de Lesseps. Her forbidden dream of being an actor on the stage brings her into Will’s orbit and inspires him to write the greatest love story of all time.
