Ephemera will showcase 29 artworks by local and nationally-renowned artists, including 20 competitive sculptures, four sculptures by invited artists, two schools projects, 2 projection artist and a chalk artist. The 20 competitive artworks will be competing for the major $10,000 Award for Artistic Excellence.
This year we are not only celebrating 20 years of sun, sand and art but also the inclusion of an acquisitive prize of $90,000 for the first time this year. Artists exhibiting in Ephemera have been given the opportunity to compete not only for the Award for Artistic Excellence but also the acquisitive prize.
The addition acquisitive prize is proudly supported by the Queensland Government.
