About Mayor’s Christmas Appeal
The Mayor’s Christmas Appeal has been helping local families and individuals in need for more than 38 years.
The 2025 Appeal will focus on monetary donations to a local charity or community organisation to support Townsville residents experiencing financial hardship over the Christmas period.
Expressions of Interest Now Open
Local charities and community organisations are invited to apply to be a recipient of the funds raised through the 2025 Mayor’s Christmas Appeal.
An extended option for promotion to receive direct goods donations from the community is also available as part of the expression of interest.
Expressions of interest close 11:59pm, Friday 7 November 2025.
