About the Artwork
Periwinkle is a Steampunk teapot. When I stumbled upon Steampunk, I was instantly enamoured with it. This art style gives free reign to unite an incongruous mix of features: mechanical elements from the Industrial Age, floral designs from the Victorian era, and motifs from punk subculture. These are married together into intriguing designs in fashion, sculpture, and film—and now teapots.
Periwinkle is a fun guy, ready for action in his goggles and cap and enthusiastic disposition. This is a functional (but not hugely practical) teapot.
