18 June 2026

PAW Patrol is on a roll and ready to take over the silver screen at Riverway Movie Nights this Friday.
Join Townsville City Council for a free screening of PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie at Riverway Oval from 6pm. This hugely pup-ular Nickelodeon movie is based on the runaway hit children’s series PAW Patrol and features the voices of Taraji P. Henson, Kim Kardashian and Chris Rock.
Deputy Mayor Suzy Batkovic said this screening was sure to be a huge hit for little ones.
“PAW Patrol is a such a fan favourite for children right around the world, including right here in Townsville. This is a great opportunity for families to enjoy a fun night out together,” Cr Batkovic said.
“Grab a blanket, bring some snacks and enjoy this screening of PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie at Riverway Oval. We’ll have a couple of food trucks at Riverway to make it easy to grab something to eat or drink during the movie.
“And don’t forget, if you’re looking for a mighty pup of your own, check out the puppies and dogs available for adoption at Council’s Animal Care and Adoption Centre.”
Riverway Movie Night’s screening of PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie kicks off at Riverway Oval at 6pm this Friday. Entry is free.
