This is in a historic precinct that is long overdue for redevelopment. This $35 million investment into this important development here will go towards decontaminating and stabilising this site. The site dates back to the 1880s, sat dormant since 1990. This is an important part of Townsville's history, and we want it to be an important part of its future.

Nick Dametto - Mayor of Townsville

This is about bringing more people into our city centre, through trade, through retail, through enjoying the green spaces that will fill this place, which was once contaminated, buy filling this place with housing and housing options to give people, people an option that want to live closer to the city centre.

Brad Webb - Developer

This is a big section of the end of the entry to the city, so we can clean that up that will encourage other people, and we'll get some pride back. What the government's putting in is absolutely critical to help us get to the next level.

Nick Dametto - Mayor of Townsville

This is a fantastic spot and I tell you what, I can't wait to see this become an integral part of the Townsville CBD once again.
