Christine Clark – Painting Prize Panel

Christine Clark is Director, Curatorial and Collections at Museum of Brisbane. Christine has held curatorial and management roles at various institutions, including the National Portrait Gallery (NPG), Australian National University, and the Queensland Art Gallery.
While at the NPG, she was part of the collaborative team that implemented the National Photographic Portrait Prize, Digital Portrait Award, and the Darling Portrait Prize. Christine has curated numerous projects emphasising cross-cultural intersections and retelling national and shared histories, including several exhibitions that have toured nationally.
Christine had the privilege of growing up on Bindal and Juru traditional lands of the Burdekin and maintains a strong connection to North Queensland and the creative life of the region.
