How to Get Active
Get Active Expo 2022 |
---|
Sunday 31 July, 10am – 2pm The sport, recreation, health and fitness expo has been rescheduled and we are calling for exhibitors to register now! We are looking for local organisations to be part of our exhibitors area, run demonstrations or set up an active zone. We have teamed up with the Queensland Government to host this year’s Get Active Expo at the recently renovated Townsville Sports Precinct, allowing you to showcase your sport, recreation, health or fitness club or organisation at this new sporting precinct. |
Outdoor Facilities
Council has a range of outdoor facilities available for outdoor exercise equipment, skateboarding, basketball, hopscotch and BMX in numerous locations. The facilities are for all members of the community to share and utilise in a safe and responsible way.
Remember, it only takes 6 minutes to burn so make sure you are prepared before you go out in the sun!
