Murray Park

Murray Park includes the Murray Dog Park, Murray Skate Park, and the  Townsville Dirt Jump Park, and is located within the Murray Sporting Complex.

This facility is supported by adjacent parking, seating, shade sails and lighting.

Murray Dog Park

There are two fully fenced spaces including a main dog off-leash area for everyone and a separate space for small dogs only.

A dog agility course is available in the main area.

Townsville Dirt Jump Park

In 2020, a new asphalt pump track, the Townsville Dirt Jump Park, was added for BMX riders thanks to $200,000 in funding from the Queensland Government’s Works for Queensland program.

It was created for the enjoyment of all riders, with the design aided by the young people of Townsville.

The track has beginner, intermediate, and advanced level features.

Townsville Skate Park

In 2024, a new section of the park was constructed to allow skaters to seamlessly transition between each section and has additional landscaping, irrigation, connecting pathways and a central shelter with a drinking fountain.
