Active City Plan Amendments

The purpose of Package 1 Major Amendment is to streamline the development assessment process and make it easier to deliver supported development in appropriate locations. It is supported by the following key objectives:

• Aligning the planning scheme with prevailing planning instruments and legislation;

• Supporting development opportunities that contribute to a strong economy; and

• Providing maintenance and administrative improvements to the planning scheme.
