Townsville Water's Role

The Townsville Water Customer Service Standard outlines the rights, obligations and performance targets of Townsville Water to its customers.

Our core business is to provide water supply and wastewater services to the council local government area, including the supply of potable water, the collection and processing of wastewater, and the supply of recycled water. Townsville Water is a registered Service Provider under the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008. We are committed to providing safe, reliable, value for money water services for the Townsville community.
