Junior Education Program

Townsville City Council invites you to participate in our fun and free interactive Junior Education Program. 

The 30 minute interactive program includes:

• Discussion on what pets need;
• How to safely interact with animals;
• Activities suitable for our audience; and
• The opportunity to meet our real live rescue animals; Harmony & Sonny.

This program is designed for children aged 4 – 6 years and is suitable to be delivered at your school, during school hours or by arranging an excursion to the Animal Care and Adoption Centre (ACAC).

All children have the chance to win stickers, bookmarks and colouring-ins during our session, as well as informative flyers to take home to their parents/carers.
