Where Rates Go

Council invests your rates and utilities back into our community. Every $100 of rates or utilities can be divided into infrastructure and service costs.

For every $100 of your rates, $5.08 goes to environment and sustainability, $6.29 to planning and development, $18.58 to cultural and community, $38.22 to roads and transport, $6.07 to drain and stormwater and $25.76 to parks and open space

For every $100 of your utilities, $62.53 goes to water, $25.23 to watewater, and $12.24 goes to resource recovery
